About the Role
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting role just for you! As the Senior Project Manager, you’ll get to manage and implement projects, making a real impact.
• Providing strategic and operational support to the Business Unit General Manager in delivering Wellington Electricity projects
• Ensuring Project Managers and Coordinators are achieving project margins, identifying any problems with cost, time implications and taking corrective action as required
• Ensuring good governance in respect of all legal, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Planning projects utilising computer based planning packages to ensure milestones are achieved and resources optimised
• Applying the industry codes of practice and ensuring they are complied with on each project
• Understand and comply with your obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and all associated regulations, standard, and approved codes of practice
• Assisting Project Manager and Coordinators in managing labour to maintain productivity and industrial relations
Qualifications and Skills
• Engineering degree or similar
• Formal training as a project manager
• Possess estimating/tendering skills, with an ability to be honds-on
• Electrical or professional registration is preferred
• Ability to manage projects across a wide range of electrical disciplines
• Excellent customer service skills at all levels
