We are seeking multiple Project Managers to join our dynamic team within Omexom’s Infrastructure Perimeter in Mt. Wellington. If you have experience delivering projects in the electrical industry—whether in high voltage, low voltage, instrumentation, or control—we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead a variety of electrical projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Focus relentlessly on excellent project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and field teams to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor all project phases, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Ensure all company and contractual reporting is completed accurately and on time.
  • Order major materials and equipment and manage project resources efficiently.
  • Identify and manage project variations, ensuring client approval and compliance.
  • Uphold and champion health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Outstanding communication skills—able to clearly convey technical and project information to all stakeholders.
  • A strong team player who collaborates effectively to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Customer-centric mindset, always striving to exceed client expectations.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience managing electrical projects in one or more of the following: high voltage, low voltage, instrumentation, or control.
  • Hands-on approach to project management, with strong estimating/tendering skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements, including contracting procedures and contract law.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full Class 1 NZ driver’s license.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Engineering Degree, NZCE, or similar qualification.
