About the Role

Are you passionate about working in the energy sector and ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a Electrical Fitter to support our Distribution team.  In this role, you’ll provide an electrical trade’s service to Omexom, covering the full range of electrical and substations services expected of a qualified electrical fitter.

•    Performing high voltage maintenance and construction work to client specifications.
•    Identifying unscheduled work to ensure that client equipment is fully maintained.
•    Responding to emergency fault breakdown work within planned response times.
•    Installing substation and other high voltage equipment, as per job instructions and specifications, meeting current regulations and standards.
•    Ensuring optimal reliability and performance of the client’s plant and equipment by completing projects and maintenance work on time and to requirement.

Qualifications and Skills

•    Trade qualification as electrician or electrical fitter. 
•    Hands-on experience in substations and other high voltage electrical work to industry standards.
•    A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements pertaining to the carrying out of all prescribed electrical work.
