About the Role

Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Head of Operational, Health, Safety and Wellbeing role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to lead operational safety, wellbeing, and risk performance across the Distribution Perimeter by embedding strong risk management, promoting physical and psychological wellbeing, and driving operational excellence through frontline leadership and trusted client partnerships, making a real impact.

The successful candidate will work on key responsibilities like:


•    Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and act as the key safety and wellbeing partner across Distribution Services.
•    Lead the management of critical operational, health, wellbeing, and psychosocial risks, ensuring effective controls are in place and performing.
•    Drive compliance with health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing standards, legislation, and client requirements.
•    Champion a proactive safety and wellbeing culture through coaching, consultation, engagement, and frontline leadership.
•    Lead incident management, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and organisational learning.
•    Monitor safety and wellbeing trends, provide governance support, and deliver assurance on risk management effectiveness.
•    Partner with clients and operational leaders to identify and implement safety, wellbeing, and innovation initiatives.
•    Promote high standards of health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility while ensuring personal accountability and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

•    Tertiary qualification in health and safety (preferred)
•    Minimum of 10 years in health and safety roles with at least five in leadership
•    Background in high-risk industries
•    Proven experience in developing and delivering HSW programmes
•    Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management
