About the Role

Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Project Engineer role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to co-ordinate the work schedules, key operations and processes for the project team, providing technically appropriate and cost-effective drawings, specifications, reports and engineering investigations and solutions to meet construction and tendering requirements, making a real impact.

The successful candidates will work on key responsibilities like:

  • Providing technical support and assistance to estimators, maintenance and construction staff, subcontractors, Technical Coordinators and project managers.
  • Submitting outage requests
  • Working with field staff, technical coordinators and project managers on improving compliance to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring work productivity and project construction programme.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and their contract arrangements.
  • Controlling project documentation and quality assurance processes (ITPs / Commissioning Plans) - Manage testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
  • Controlling construction drawings, as built mark-ups and final as-built manuals.
  • Ensure installations meet design requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required 

  • A trade qualification
  • Bachelors or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Aptitude and experience in engineering designs
  • Experience in project coordination
  • A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
