About the Role

Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Business Support Manager role just for you! In this position, you’ll provide seamless, effective and business relevant internal support services and resources that position the business unit to operate at its best.  This will be achieved through developing strong and enduring working relationships across the unit and company, leveraging company support practices and leading a multi disciplined team focused on service and support to the business unit’s operations making a real impact.

  • Develop and implement business support strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day support operations across: IT systems; innovation; plant, equipment & vehicles; training; CSR & wellbeing; quality & assurance; environment; and external communication.
  • Foster a team environment focused on high performance and quality service.
  • Plan and deliver special projects (process improvements, system implementations, and change initiatives) with clear benefits.
  • Continually assess and improve business processes; embed best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks; maintain controls and effective escalation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Conduct internal audits and close out actions promptly.
  • Setting a personal example on all matters of health and safety, influencing good practice and a strong HSE culture across the business and working towards highly effective worker participation practices.
  • Providing accessible and value add reporting and trend analysis across support and operational functions that support Business Unit decision making and enhance Perimeter performance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Business or engineering Degree or diploma
  • 10+ years’ experience leading business support services and teams (preferred).
  • Proven success in technically complex transaction environments.
  • Strong process management and continuous‑improvement skills, with a clear understanding of client requirements.
  • Demonstrated change‑management capability—from planning and stakeholder engagement to implementation and adoption.
  • Strong commercial acumen within a contracting context is preferred
