About the Role
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Trade's Assistant role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to provide a mechanical trade assistance service to support mechanical trades staff, making a real impact.
• Support day to day site operations through general housekeeping and maintenance tasks
• Install basic equipment and hardware under the guidance of supervisors or qualified trades staff
• Prepare work areas for installation and maintenance activities, ensuring all tools, materials, and safety measures are in place
• Disestablish work sites after tasks are completed, including clearing tools, equipment, and excess materials
• Assist with the setup and removal of safety equipment before and after work
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, including routine cleaning of plant and equipment
• Perform routine physical tasks to support trades personnel during installation and maintenance work
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required
• Class 2 drivers licence
• Experience in operating cranes (hiabs)
• Hands-on experience in a mechanical work environment
• A basic knowledge of basic hand tools and safety requirements pertaining to the work
