About the Role
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Planner – Planned Maintenance, Substations Technical Services role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to provide a work planning service with responsibility for the effective planning and execution of planned maintenance work, making a real impact.
The successful candidate will work on key responsibilities like:
• Take a leading role in developing and updating maintenance plans for all primary and secondary assets in high voltage Zone Substation (Including grounds and buildings).
• Prepare and revise work packs to meet company, client, and statutory standards.
• Work with stakeholders to coordinate daily tasks safely in the Substation environment.
• Collaborate with the substation maintenance team to allocate resources.
• Manage Subcontractor work activities.
• Source quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain company and client asset databases.
• Ensure quality assurance of job packs in line with standards and deadlines.
• Develop and update maintenance standards and technical engineering designs for high voltage Substation equipment.
• Present recommendations for the improvement of technical requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to the timely completion of the required maintenance activities for all substation equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
• At least 3-4 years relevant experience, including significant project co-ordination in a complex environment.
• Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of the electrical industry (High Voltage Substations).
• A good understanding of maintenance operations.
• Excellent planning and organisation skills.
• Have a level 4 Electrical qualification (Registered with EWRB).
