• Full-time, Permanent role with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per week
About the Role
The successful candidates will work on key responsibilities like:
• Responding to, assessing and attending to all assigned service requests within service levels
• Performing high voltage switching and isolation of plant
• Carrying out repair and maintenance work to Omexom and customer standards
• Identifying and reporting any unscheduled work to enable recording of network equipment that is not safe or functional
• Ensuring that vehicles and allocated equipment are well presented and maintained
• Working to achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) and Omexom operational and quality processes
Qualifications and Skills
• Qualified and registered line mechanic
• Switching training and experience
• Heavy vehicle licence (minimum requirement class 2)
• Desirable to have recently held faultman network warrants and Transpower switching
