Electrix is seeking a visionary Health & Safety Director to lead the strategic direction of our health and safety function across a diverse and dynamic portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to influence safety outcomes at scale across critical infrastructure, energy, and industrial sectors while embedding a culture of care, innovation, and continuous improvement based in Auckland.
As Health & Safety Director, you will:
• Develop and execute a high-impact safety strategy aligned with business goals and global best practices.
• Champion a proactive approach to a continuous improvement in our safety culture with an ambition of zero harm.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with the wider VINCI Energies, industry bodies, clients, and regulators.
• Be a proactive influencer, role model, and problem solver who enables the integration of safety into the culture of our organisation’s operations. Inspire a culture of safety leadership, wellbeing, and operational excellence across the organisation.
• Participation in educational / training activities across the business to deliver a proactive continuous improvement approach to Health & Safety.
What you’ll bring:
• 10+ years of progressive H&S leadership experience, ideally in offshore O&G, mining, data centres, renewable energy, or power grid sectors.
• Deep expertise in ISO 45001, New Zealand health and safety legislation, and HSE frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence executive teams and drive strategic change.
• A passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and workforce wellbeing.
