About the Role

Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Senior Engineer - Distribution Design role just for you! In this position, you’ll get to carry out estimating and engineering services to support the company business plan and achieve Omexom's market share of work at a planned profit margin or better.

  • Act as subject matter expert in distribution design and mentor design/estimating teams.
  • Lead design development, technical documentation, and compliance assurance.
  • Manage tenders, cost estimates, supplier quotes, and contract negotiations.
  • Oversee project delivery to ensure timeline, budget, and quality targets are met.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Possess estimating/tendering skills, with an ability to be hands-on.
  • Sound knowledge of the electrical industry with experience in commercial, industrial and high voltage installations.
  • Experience in reading, understanding and reviewing single line drawings and control schematics.
  • Knowledge of electrical regulations, industry requirements, contracting procedures and Contract Law.
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering, and/or a proven track record of engineering design in the electrical power sector (industrial, transmission and/or distribution) with at least five years’ experience. Possess estimating/tendering skills, with an ability to be hands-on.
