About the Role
Come join our amazing team across Auckland. We are looking for a Cable Jointer to carry out the repair and installation of LV, HV and EHV underground cable within the level of qualification and WTC authority level held.
The successful candidates will work on tasks like:
• Identifying electrical systems in preparation for work.
• Completing all allocated work related to the installation and repair of underground cables.
• Maintaining effective relationships with Electrix and Vector networks staff, customers and suppliers.
• Maintaining all allocated plant, equipment, and tools to ensure they are in good working order at all times.
• Providing prompt assistance in the repair of system faults and participation in a faults standby roster.
• Carrying out all work out in accordance with company policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Operating ground and structure mounted electrical equipment associated with electricity lines up to 33 kV.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, you will have:
• EWRB – full or limited licence.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in distribution line work to industry standards.
• A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
• Valid Driver’s License (NZ or overseas)
• Available to participate in a standby roster.
