About the Role
Come join our amazing team across Auckland. We are looking for a Field Supervisor - Jointer to coordinate distribution network employees, deliver the required customer service level agreement outcomes and ensure work is completed safely, on time and to an appropriate quality standard.
The successful candidates will work on tasks like:
• Plan work for staff and lead staff in the field on a daily basis.
• Utilising subcontractors.
• Identify long-term work for budget consideration.
• Ensure that both Electrix and the customer comply with the contract agreement.
• Ensure job packs are submitted for invoicing.
• Maintain excellent productivity and employment relations.
• Achieve industry codes of practice and ensure they are complied with.
• Achieve safe working methods and the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act and ensure these are communicated to all staff.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, you will have:
• Mentoring and training of cable jointers and cable jointer trainees.
• Assisting with planning of work for jointing staff and leading jointers in the field on a daily basis.
• Ensuring cable jointers specialised tools and equipment are in test and in good working order.
• Ensuring job packs are completed correctly.
• Maintaining excellent productivity of the cable jointing team.
• Achieving industry codes of practice and ensuring they are complied with.
• Ensuring that the standby faults roster for cable jointers is current and complies with customer requirements.
• Hands on experience with 11-33KV jointing and underground networks.
• A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
• Basic computer experience.
• Able to write brief reports.
• A current New Zealand class 2 driving license.
• Hands on experience with 11-33KV jointing and underground networks.
